How to troubleshoot when switch is not pingable for level 1?

  •  Is the switch powered on? (Check power LED)
  • Are the Ethernet cables securely connected? (Check link/activity LEDs)
  • Make sure, ethernet cable / network cable is not damage.
  • Is the switch’s IP address correct and in the same subnet as your devices
  • Can you ping the switch from another device?
  • Have you tried power cycling the switch?
  • Is the switch reset to factory settings (if needed)?
